Art and Kat's Wedding 2027

Attention all travelers! We will be securing a guest house very soon. The number of interested guests will determine the deposit and remaining balance due in February, so let us know if you would like to participate in our guest house experience with a private pool that can sleep up to 20-40 guests (or less). When you RSVP, be sure to select the lodging option that fits you best. Our deadline to secure a guest house is November 1, 2026.

SCHEDULED EVENTS

April 1, 2027: Day time fun for early arrivals and locals followed by the Bachelor/Bachelorette Party, locations/time TBD

April 2, 2027: Wedding Reheasal at Eden State Gardens (Wedding Party) 5pm followed by dinner (TBD)

April 3, 2027: Our wedding is taking place at Eden Gardens State Park in Santa Rosa Beach. We recommend arriving between 1:30 pm and 2:30 pm to ensure parking and enjoy the grounds before the ceremony starts. There is a $1 entry fee at the gate. The ceremony will commence at the Wedding Tree at 3 pm, with indoor/outdoor options for weather.

The reception follows with a DJ, Food Stations, and Virgin Cocktails. Unfortunately, alcohol will not be served during the reception due to it being a state park open to the public. Wedding Party photos will commence after the ceremony. We will join guests for the first dance and cake cutting soon after the photos with an ETA of 4 pm at the latest. We have to be off the grounds by 7 pm.

Post-Wedding Celebration: We will meet at 8 pm for live music at AJ's in Grayton, and within walking distance to the famous Red Bar with additional live music. We can secure babysitters as needed for a fee.

April 4, 2027: Bye Bye Brunch at Bud and Alley's. We will need to get a head count before finalizing this non formal event.

TRAVEL AND LODGING

✈️ Airports

Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP) – Panama City Beach

This is a very convenient airport for the 30A/South Walton area; ECP says the 30A beach corridor is about a 28-minute drive from the airport.

Destin–Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS)

Another good option, especially for guests who find better flights into the Destin/Fort Walton Beach area. This airport is 15 minutes from our home and about 45 minutes with traffic from the areas surrounding the venue.

Pensacola International Airport (PNS)

Farther away, but worth including as an alternative because guests may find better fares or schedules, but its a good 2 hour drive from the airport with traffic.

🏨 Hotels & Condos Near Eden

For those of you wanting to secure your own private lodging, we recommend looking for accommodations in Seaside, Watercolor, Grayton Beach, Seagrove Beach or Santa Rosa Beach. You’ll find everything from hotels and resorts to condos and larger vacation homes along 30A.

Here are a few to choose from:

Watercolor Inn — 34 Goldenrod Circle, in Watercolor. This is one of the closest upscale choices; published lodging information places it about 3.7 miles from Eden Gardens. 

The Court - Seaside, Florida — 215 Quincy Circle, right in Seaside. A nice option for guests who want to be able to walk to restaurants, shopping and the beach. Published lodging information places it about 3.6 miles from Eden. 

The Lodge 30A — 4721 E. County Hwy 30A, Seagrove Beach. More of a straightforward hotel option and convenient to the 30A area.

Home2 Suites by Hilton Santa Rosa Beach — 100 W. Hewett Road. This is an all-suite hotel with kitchenettes, which could be particularly useful for wedding guests staying several days.

For guests who would rather have a condo, Inn at Blue Mountain is a beachfront condo option with pools, hot tubs, private beach, gym is in the Sanctuary by the Sea complex near Grayton/Blue Mountain Beach.
